Open Collaborative Crowd Sourcing

Crowdsourcing is a specific sourcing model in which individuals or organizations use contributions from Internet users to obtain needed services or ideas.  We want to animate our Users to share the Contact details from recruiting companies, recruiters and their way of working towards Job Seekers.

Currently there are 23,980 recruiting agencies (source: ONS 2016) in the UK and 9,565 agencies have a Turnover over £250,000.  There are over 100,000 employees or Recruiters in the UK and some only share partly their contact details or none at all.

Linkedin can help the Job Seekers getting some contact details about a Recruiter, however Linkedin restricts a user searching for people by giving them a monthly search contingent and if you search to frequent, Linkedin will state that you have overused your searches and Linkedin believes you are a Recruiter.  This will even happen when you have upgraded to a Job Seeker Plan.

Our databases are based on Crowdsourcing towards

  • Recruiting Companies
  • Recruiters
  • Survey Data

We regularly update our Recruiting Company Table with the Companies House Information but it only gives the basic Information but the Job Seeker gets more information once they have applied for a job.  These contact information can then be updated in our tables and it is shared to all users.

We further ask each User to answer several simple questions on each Job Application process which will then be shared to Basic users with a Global Summary Mark or with Full Details to Standard Users.  This information will help the Job Seeker again, to get properly prepared towards the interview process.

JobExcel will not be able to make a change in how the Recruiters are working but we believe that the Job Seekers can help each other to know and understand the Recruiting Market better by having some more insight information, which is currently not at all shared.

Overall, JobExcel will supply the Job Seeker with more information but it will still be the Job Seekers responsibility to sell themselves to the Recruiting company that they are the right and best candidate.  Now if the Job Seekers know more about the Recruiters this would help them to incorporate this in their Job Application and in the Job Interview.

Once a new recruiter has been inserted into our portal, the recruiter will get a notification email from JobExcel and will be asked to verify the personal data. This process is needed to be compliant to GDPR. The recruiter has the capability to show all personal data or even decide not to be listed in our portal. JobExcel hopes that the recruiter will not opt to the worst scenario, which is to be not listed on our portal.
